The artist was born in 1961 in Istanbul and received her associate degree from Anadolu University, Faculty of Business Administration, Department of Business Administration in 1992. She started working on ceramics with Ceramic Artist Ayfer Karamani in Bodrum in 1996. She continued her painting studies with Devabil Kara in the evening and weekend workshops of Marmara University, Faculty of Fine Arts between 1998-2000. She continued her ceramics studies with Ceramic Artist Mehmet Tüzüm Kızılcan in İzmir between 2003-2006. She founded her studio, Atölye Türkbükü Arts & Crafts, in 2006. The artist, whose ceramics studies were carried out with Ceramic Artist Firdevs Müjde Gökbel Yavuzoğlu between 2009-2011, has participated in many national and international exhibitions, symposiums, and workshops. Ataman Güngör, who entered Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University, Bodrum Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Ceramics in 2022, is currently continuing her education at the relevant institution. At the same time, she continues her artistic works in her studio.
