Koza Kurt Kırtay was born in Bandırma, Balıkesir in 1986. She graduated from Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Traditional Turkish Handicrafts in 2009. She completed the Master’s Degree program in Traditional Turkish Arts at Dokuz Eylül University, Faculty of Fine Arts in 2012, and the Proficiency in Art program at Hacettepe University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Ceramics in 2019. Kırtay has participated in national and international workshops, symposiums, and juried exhibitions. She continues her academic and artistic studies at Bolu Abant İzzet Baysal University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Traditional Turkish Arts.
