Sinan Avinal was born in Istanbul. In 2005, he started his bachelor’s degree at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Ceramic and Glass Design. In 2010, after completing his bachelor’s degree, he won two domestic awards with his works produced in 2011. Starting his postgraduate education at the same university, he completed his Master’s Degree in 2018 and his Proficiency in Art (PhD) in 2023 with his thesis titled “Analysis of Perceptual Uncertainty Through Ceramic Artifacts”.

Sinan Avinal, who started his academic career in 2013, has been working as a Research Assistant at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University, Department of Ceramics and Glass since 2016. He teaches “Art and Object”, “Art and Environment”, “Ceramic Basic Design”, “Ceramics Business”, and “Portfolio” in the department. The artist focuses on experimental art in his recent works and continues his work in his studio.
